With the new Baroncelli Tonneau Lady, Mido unveils a delightful, ultra-refined new model with highly feminine curves. Faithful to the subtle and sleek design of the Baroncelli Heritage family, this timepiece comes for the first time in an elegant barrel shape, with a polished rose gold PVD-treated case. The curved case back has been designed to mould to the shape of the wrist perfectly and to allow the finely decorated movement to be fully appreciated. The Baroncelli Tonneau Lady is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective treatment. The rim of the case adorned with double gadroons reveals an exceptionally pure white grained dial set with 12 diamonds. The seconds are indicated by a large blued hand, one of the distinctive features of this collection. Fitted with a latest-generation automatic movement, the Baroncelli Tonneau Lady will appeal to all women in search of a highly refined and contemporary timepiece.

The Baroque-influenced neoclassical style of Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II expresses all the sophistication inherent to the Italian architectural tradition. It was from these harmonious curves that Mido drew its inspiration for the Baroncelli. The subtle references to this prestigious building and its sophisticated forms bestow both a rare sense of elegance and a resolutely timeless style on this iconic collection, which marked its 40^th anniversary in 2016.

The new Baroncelli Tonneau Lady is an exceptionally fine watch. It features an ultra-feminine silhouette, thanks to its polished rose gold PVD-treated barrel-shaped case, which measures 30.5 mm x 35 mm. Its rim with double gadroons reveals a superb white grained dial, whose subtle and sleek design, faithful to the ethos of the Baroncelli Heritage family, is accentuated by the unique sparkle of the 12 diamonds (totalling 0.045 carats) that act as its indexes. The curved shape of the date aperture at 6 o’clock echoes that of the case. The double-sided hour and minute hands – one side sandblasted, the other diamond-cut – add an additional touch of classicism to this timeless creation. The seconds are indicated by a large blued hand, one of the sophisticated hallmarks of the Baroncelli collection. The curved case back of the Baroncelli Tonneau Lady moulds to the shape of the wrist perfectly for maximum comfort.

A domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective treatment protects the dial. The wide transparent case back has been specially designed to allow all those who love fine watchmaking mechanics to fully admire the latest-generation automatic movement powering the Baroncelli Tonneau Lady. Offering up to 42 hours of power reserve, this finely decorated movement features an oscillating weight adorned with Geneva stripes and the Mido logo. Water-resistant up to a pressure of 3 bars (30 m/100 ft), this delightful model comes with a black semi-matt crocodile-look genuine cow leather strap, equipped with a folding clasp in rose gold PVD-treated steel.
