MIDO MULTIFORT PATRIMONY COLLECTION – WHERE THE PAST MEETS THE PRESENT

Nowadays, it is becoming increasingly fashionable to design and wear watches in the vintage style of yesteryear. This style trend helps to connect the past and the present, while paying tribute to bygone eras, our ancestors, and the heritage that new generations carry on.

The MIDO brand has also joined this trend, and despite countless competitors, it has created a strikingly beautiful, high-quality collection with a simple, clean design that is free of clutter.

It is available in three color variants: blue, gray, and black with a sunray dial and black, tan, and coffee brown vintage leather straps.

The pulsometer scale on the edge of the dial makes the pieces in this collection truly unique. This scale was used by doctors in the 1920s and 1930s. It could be used in conjunction with the chronograph function of the watches, calibrated to 15 or 30 heartbeats. Today, however, it is just a curiosity that has been brought back by the vintage line.

Mido Patrimony watches use Arabic numerals for the quarter-hour indices, and above the 6 o'clock index there is a minimalist date window that perfectly matches the design of the watch. Both the dial and the hands have been coated with Super-Luminova, making the watch easy to read even in the dark. The brightness and durability of this special coating are significantly greater than those of older phosphorescent solutions. It does not emit harmful radiation and is non-toxic. Its only "flaw" is that if the watch gets wet—which you should take care to avoid—the quality of the coating deteriorates significantly due to the effects of moisture.

The case itself is made of steel with beautifully crafted crowns. It boasts a diameter of 40 mm and water resistance of 5 ATM. All members of the Patrimony collection feature the Mido Caliber 80 (ETA C07.621) automatic movement, with an impressive 80-hour power reserve.

Pieces designed for everyday wear – antique exterior with a modern interior. With the pulsometer scale, MIDO has made a design choice that is probably somewhat divisive, but certainly interesting. Encouraged by the success of the collection, we hope they will soon introduce new color combinations.
