The watch's 43 mm case is made of stainless steel and adorned with a stunning platinum bezel. The dial shines in an ice-blue hue, while the Super-LumiNova®-coated indexes and hands ensure readability in all lighting conditions.

An interesting feature of the watch is that the perpetual calendar chronograph is complemented by a moon phase display at 12 o'clock on the dial. This complication is made possible by Breitling's in-house Caliber B19 movement. The advantage of the perpetual calendar is that it can automatically adjust to the different lengths of the months, meaning that there is no need to manually change the date approximately every two months. The precisely crafted mechanism is also able to take into account the differences caused by leap years. The automatic movement has a power reserve of 96 hours. The movement undergoes a unique testing process that includes simulating 16 years of operation and several tests to check its durability. The movement's accuracy has been tested by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC) laboratory, meaning that in addition to its chronograph function, it also has a chronometer quality certificate.
